Understand Yepsta Pay

Yepsta Pay is the online collection workspace for eligible Invoices. It creates a secure Razorpay Payment Link or, when enabled for the account, a fixed-amount Dynamic QR request and records the verified result against the same Invoice.

Yepsta records collection only after Razorpay confirms the payment. The Invoice remains the authoritative billing record.

Permission required

Owners have full access. Managers and staff need the relevant Yepsta Pay — View, Collect, Share or Reconcile permission and access to the Invoice location. Payment Settings has separate view/manage permissions and requires access to all business locations.

Start in the Yepsta Pay workspace

Open Sales & Billing → Yepsta Pay. The available tabs are:

• Overview — collection KPIs, 30-day collections, Provider health, recent collections, active links and attention preview;
• Payment Requests — Payment Links and Dynamic QR requests;
• Online Transactions — Razorpay payments and reconciliation state; and
• Needs Attention — unresolved provider or posting issues that require a safe business action.

Use Live payments for real customer collection. Test mode appears only for businesses explicitly enabled for testing, and test collection can update the selected test Invoice.

Read the Overview

The headline cards show Collected today, Collected this month, Active requests and Needs attention. Provider health shows the Razorpay account, connection method, webhook state, Payment Link availability, Dynamic QR availability and last provider check.

Payment Links are the recommended collection method. Dynamic QR is optional and can remain Awaiting Razorpay enablement even while the Razorpay account and Payment Links are healthy.

Important information

Yepsta Pay does not create a second billing ledger. The Invoice and its payment records remain authoritative for amount due, partial payment, paid status, Project gates and financial reporting.

Tip

Start with one low-risk issued Invoice, create a Payment Link, verify the customer experience and confirm the payment appears once on the Invoice before expanding automation.
