Add Business Details
Business details identify the organisation across the dashboard, customer communication, invoices and public profile. Use information approved by the owner and distinguish the public business identity from legal billing details.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”Prepare the public business name, category, operating mode, owner-approved description and branding. If the business is GST registered, also prepare its legal name, GSTIN and billing address.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Enter the initial information in the Business, Branding, and GST & Billing onboarding steps. After launch, the owner can maintain it under Settings → Business Identity. Public contact links have their own Social & Public Links settings.
Add the details
Section titled “Add the details”- In Business, add the customer-facing business name and category.
- Choose whether the business offers Services, Products, or Both.
- In Branding, add the tagline, description, brand colour and profile image you want customers to see.
- Add valid website, Instagram or Facebook links only when the business controls them.
- In GST & Billing, select the GST registration status.
- For a registered business, enter the legal name, GSTIN and billing address exactly as approved for invoicing.
- Review the public and legal details separately before continuing.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”Yepsta uses the business identity throughout the workspace. The default location receives relevant contact and billing information during setup. Public presentation can later be refined without changing the legal billing identity.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- If a registered GST business cannot continue, check the GSTIN, legal name, billing state, address and pincode.
- If a public link is rejected, include the complete supported URL.
- If the owner email or mobile field is locked, use Settings → Account Settings.
