Set Up Your Business and Go Live
Use this setup guide when you are responsible for launching a new business. It combines the required onboarding checks with the first operational records needed for a usable workspace.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”You must be the business owner or be working with the owner. Prepare the owner email, business WhatsApp phone, business details, primary branch, GST and billing information, weekly hours, services, prices and staff responsibilities.
Part 1: complete required onboarding
Section titled “Part 1: complete required onboarding”Reach the Review and launch screen
- Register the business-owner account and verify its email.
- Confirm the business name and choose the closest business type.
- Enter the business mobile and complete the required WhatsApp OTP verification.
- Add the primary location and complete its address, city, state and pincode.
- Add approved branding and public details.
- In Operations, choose separately whether the business sells products and takes appointments. Set the default location’s weekly hours and choose whether customers can see them.
- Complete GST and billing details. Registered businesses must provide their legal name, GSTIN and billing address.
- Select and activate a subscription that supports the required location count.
- Open Review and launch, resolve every listed issue, and launch the workspace.
Part 2: prepare day-to-day operations
Section titled “Part 2: prepare day-to-day operations”Build the operating foundation
- Open Settings → Business Identity and verify the saved public and legal details.
- Open Business → Locations, then complete detailed branch contact and GST information under Settings → Locations & GST.
- Open Business → Manage Availability and confirm weekly hours for every branch.
- Create the main service categories and services the business actually provides.
- If Sell products is on, add the products and stock information needed for day-to-day sales.
- If Accept new appointments is on, add staff, connect each person to the services they perform, and set their working hours.
- Enable dashboard login only for people who need it.
- As owner, create or review roles under Settings → Permissions → Roles & Access, then assign each user’s role and locations in Administration → User Management.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The workspace is now ready for the parts of Yepsta the business chose to use. Managers and staff see only the areas and locations the owner allows.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Use Review and launch as the source of truth for a blocked launch.
- If Continue is disabled during Mobile, finish WhatsApp OTP verification.
- If a product or appointment area says it is off, review Settings → Business Operations.
- If Add Location is disabled, check the active-location counter and subscription limit.
- If a service is missing for staff, check its location, active status and bookable type.
- If a team member sees no module, check the role’s exact permission and scope, then the user’s assigned locations.
