Understand the Customer QR and AI Review Flow

The QR review journey collects a star rating, optionally helps the customer draft wording, and then sends the customer to the configured Google listing or to private feedback according to your settings.

  • Add the business-level Google Review URL.
  • Choose the private-feedback setting and Minimum Rating to Redirect to Google.
  • Open the QR belonging to the intended location.
  • Use test wording that contains no real personal data.
From scan to review
  1. The customer scans the QR and opens the public business page.
  2. They start the review action and choose 1–5 stars.
  3. They can choose Friendly, Professional, Premium, Short or Enthusiastic and add an optional special mention.
  4. Yepsta applies the business’s private-feedback and threshold settings.
  5. An eligible public-review journey presents up to three editable AI-assisted draft options.
  6. The customer chooses an option and selects Copy & Post on Google.
  7. If an active review reward exists, they can provide an email or mobile number to claim it, or skip.
  8. Yepsta opens Google. The customer pastes or edits the copied text, chooses the star rating and decides whether to submit.

AI assistance creates a draft. Yepsta does not automatically post a review, choose a rating or submit to Google on the customer’s behalf.

When Enable Private Feedback Filtering is on, ratings at or above the selected threshold enter the public-review flow and lower ratings enter private feedback. When filtering is off, ratings can enter the public-review flow regardless of stars, provided the required business-level Google URL is configured.

If that business-level URL is missing, the complete AI/Google flow is unavailable even when a branch URL exists.

Confirm the rating was eligible, the business-level Google URL is saved and the QR is active. A generation service can also be temporarily unavailable; do not write or post text on the customer’s behalf. Let the customer leave their own review directly or try later.
