Manage WhatsApp Templates

WhatsApp templates are Meta-reviewed messages used to start campaign communication. Yepsta can create a template, submit it to Meta and sync its latest approval status.

Create Template
  1. Open Communication → WhatsApp Templates and select Create Template.
  2. Choose the WhatsApp Account.
  3. Enter the Template Name, then choose Marketing, Utility or Authentication.
  4. Enter the Language Code.
  5. Choose a header of None or Text, and add header text when required.
  6. Write the body and use Meta’s numbered variables such as {{1}}, {{2}} in their intended order.
  7. Add an optional footer and supported quick-reply, URL or phone-number buttons.
  8. Review the live preview, then submit the template to Meta.

The current creator supports no header or a text header. Synced templates can display other component formats from Meta, but Yepsta does not provide campaign media-header upload and mapping in this workflow.

Select Sync for the relevant active account after a template is submitted or changed in Meta. The library shows the account, language, category and status such as Pending, Approved or Rejected. Open the template to review its components and any available rejection feedback.

Only approved templates appear for campaign selection. A newly submitted or modified template can remain unavailable until Meta approves it and Yepsta syncs the result.

Campaign mappings can supply values such as customer name, phone, email, business name, location, booking URL, store URL, product URL, review URL or reward balance.

  • Match every numbered variable exactly once and in the same order as the template.
  • Use a value that exists for the intended recipients.
  • Check public URLs before sending.
  • Keep button and body parameters aligned with the approved component structure.

Parameter-count or order mismatches, empty customer data and a template belonging to another sender are common send blockers.

The template preview reflects the components stored in Yepsta. Use Clone when you need a new version; changes submitted as a new template require Meta review. A template test is available only for an approved template that is already used by a saved campaign with variable mappings and an eligible sample recipient.
