Connect Razorpay to Yepsta Pay
Connect Razorpay from Main Settings → Payment Settings before creating an online collection request. The same secure journey works whether you already use Razorpay or need to create your first Razorpay account.
Choose Live or Test
Section titled “Choose Live or Test”Use Live for real customer payments. Test appears only when explicitly enabled for the business. Connecting a Live account does not automatically turn on invoice collection automation.
Connect with Razorpay
Section titled “Connect with Razorpay”- Open Main Settings → Payment Settings and choose the required Live or Test mode.
- Select Connect Razorpay, review the short connection guide and select Continue to Razorpay.
- Yepsta redirects you securely to Razorpay in the same browser tab.
- If you already have a Razorpay account, log in with that account. You do not need another Razorpay account for Yepsta.
- If you are new to Razorpay, enter your email and complete Razorpay signup on the same page. There is no separate new-account onboarding link.
- Complete any login, signup, KYC or verification requested securely by Razorpay. Yepsta never receives your Razorpay password.
- Review Razorpay’s branded authorization screen when it appears.
- Authorize Yepsta to connect to the Razorpay account.
- Razorpay redirects you to Payment Settings, where Yepsta displays Razorpay connected successfully.
New account signup, KYC or activation can take some time. If you leave before authorization is complete, return to Main Settings → Payment Settings and select Continue with Razorpay. Yepsta starts a fresh, secure connection session; it does not reuse an expired session.
Use API keys as an advanced alternative
Section titled “Use API keys as an advanced alternative”Select Use API keys to open Advanced: Connect using API keys. Enter the Razorpay Key ID, Razorpay Key Secret and optional Deposit account, then let Yepsta verify the details before saving. This option is not required when you use Connect Razorpay. Follow the webhook checklist shown for an API-key connection.
Check readiness and availability
Section titled “Check readiness and availability”Manage Razorpay shows the connected account, Live or Test mode, connection method, last check, deposit account and online collection availability.
- If the account shows Activation pending, complete the requested work with Razorpay and select Check status later.
- Payment Links become available only when the connection and required Razorpay capability are ready.
- Dynamic QR appears only after Razorpay enables that capability for the account. A connected account can have Payment Links available while Dynamic QR remains unavailable.
Resolve connection problems
Section titled “Resolve connection problems”Authorization was cancelled
Section titled “Authorization was cancelled”Yepsta shows Razorpay connection wasn’t completed. No account changes are made. Select Try again when you are ready.
