Connect WhatsApp with Embedded Signup
Embedded Signup connects Yepsta to the Meta assets and exact phone number you approve. It avoids entering account credentials directly in Yepsta.
Standard Embedded Signup
Section titled “Standard Embedded Signup”- Open Communication → WhatsApp Account / Setup and select Connect WhatsApp Business.
- Select a location or choose all locations for later assignment.
- Confirm the owner prerequisite.
- Choose Set up a new Cloud API number, then Continue to Meta.
- Sign in to Meta and select or create the correct Business Portfolio and WhatsApp account.
- Select and verify the exact business phone number.
- Return to Yepsta and wait for the account card to confirm setup.
- Review readiness and sync templates if they are not already current.
Standard setup can require Sender Activation with a six-digit PIN after the connection. Use the action only when it appears on the account card.
Connect an existing WhatsApp Business App number
Section titled “Connect an existing WhatsApp Business App number”- Start Connect WhatsApp Business, choose the location scope and confirm the owner prerequisite.
- Choose Keep using the WhatsApp Business App and continue to Meta.
- Select the correct Business Portfolio and WhatsApp assets.
- If Meta returns more than one eligible number, select the exact number you want to connect.
- Approve the available contact and message-history sharing choices.
- Return to Yepsta and keep the WhatsApp Business App connected while initial sync runs.
- Check the account card for Syncing Business App, Ready to Send or Sync Attention.
The selected number stays registered in the WhatsApp Business App. Supported new messages can be reflected in Yepsta conversations, including messages sent from the Business App. Do not re-register the number as a separate Cloud API sender.
Contacts and history
Section titled “Contacts and history”Initial contacts and history requests must finish within the onboarding window shown by Yepsta, currently 24 hours. If history sharing is not approved, older conversation history can be limited or unavailable. Supported new activity can still sync while the connection remains active.
Retry, reconnect and offboarding
Section titled “Retry, reconnect and offboarding”- Use Retry Coexistence Setup only when the account shows a failed or incomplete sync. A retry preserves steps that already succeeded.
- If the 24-hour onboarding window has expired, contact Yepsta Support before starting over.
- If Yepsta is removed as a partner from the WhatsApp Business App, the account becomes Disconnected in WhatsApp. Existing Yepsta history is retained, but new sync and sending stop.
- For a changed number, Business Portfolio or ownership issue, verify the Meta assets before reconnecting instead of repeatedly retrying.
What Yepsta can access
Section titled “What Yepsta can access”Yepsta receives only the business data and permissions approved during connection. Depending on the approved mode and sync outcome, this can include the selected phone identity, eligible contacts, supported message history and new supported message activity. Yepsta does not take over the WhatsApp Business App; you can continue using it while the coexistence connection is active.
