Understanding the Dashboard

The dashboard is the starting point after sign-in. Yepsta opens an owner, manager or staff workspace and shows only the areas available to that account.

What you may see

• A role-specific operational dashboard
• The sidebar or mobile navigation menu
• Module Directory for accessible modules
• Application Global Search, opened with Ctrl + K or ⌘ + K
• The Yepsta AI Business Brief when its service is available
• The in-app notification bell
• Support
• Settings for owners or Account Settings for managers and staff

Permission required

Owners retain full business access. Manager and Staff screens depend on Team Access permissions and assigned locations. Owner-only areas, including User Management, do not become available through role permissions.

Understand a missing option

Check these layers in order:

1. Confirm the correct account and role.
2. Confirm the subscription is active if you are trying to change operational data.
3. Ask the owner to check the role’s Team Access setting.
4. Confirm the user is assigned to the relevant location.
5. Check whether the feature has an additional availability condition.

Application Global Search follows the same permission and location rules. It searches customers, appointments, invoices, estimates, products, services, staff and suppliers after at least two characters; it does not reveal records the user cannot otherwise access.

Important information

The Help Centre search and Yepsta Global Search are different. Help Centre search finds documentation; Global Search finds permitted business records inside Yepsta.
