Navigate Dashboards, Modules, Search, and AI Business Brief
Yepsta opens a role-specific dashboard and keeps modules, records and actions within the signed-in account’s permission and location boundaries.
Use the role dashboard
Section titled “Use the role dashboard”- Owner: business-wide operational signals and owner controls.
- Manager: permitted branch/team activity plus personal My Workspace context.
- Staff: personal assigned work, schedule and available self-service records.
Dashboard cards are summaries. Open the linked appointment, invoice, stock, customer or report workspace before making an operational decision.
Find a module
Section titled “Find a module”Open Module Directory from the navigation or business menu. Search by module or feature and filter to a business area. The directory hides unavailable modules and disabled child features; it does not grant permission.
Use the sidebar for frequent workflows and Module Directory when you know the business task but not its navigation label.
Search business records
Section titled “Search business records”- Press
Ctrl+Kon Windows/Linux or⌘+Kon macOS, or select the application search field. - Enter at least two characters.
- Review grouped results for customers, appointments, invoices, estimates, products, services, staff or suppliers.
- Use the arrow keys or pointer to choose the exact result, then open it.
- Confirm the record and location before editing.
Global Search returns up to a small set from each supported record type and respects permission/location scope. A missing result can mean the record is outside your access, uses different spelling, or belongs to an unsupported type.
Use Yepsta AI Business Brief
Section titled “Use Yepsta AI Business Brief”When AI Insight is available, open Yepsta AI Business Brief from the top bar. It has Today’s Brief, AI Reports and Ask AI tabs. Report choices cover operations, payments, inventory and online activity.
The panel always begins with local workspace signals such as today’s revenue/appointments, pending payments, low stock and profile/review readiness. When AI generation is enabled and daily usage remains, it can produce a saved brief or report. If generation is disabled, unavailable or at its displayed daily limit, Yepsta shows saved or local insights instead.
AI output is a prioritisation aid, not an authoritative financial, tax, staffing or customer decision. Open the linked source module and verify current records.
