Configure Notification Centre

Notification Centre controls event-driven transactional messages, such as supported customer or business updates triggered by activity in Yepsta.

System Purpose Message source
WhatsApp Campaigns Marketing or bulk outreach Business-owned sender and approved campaign template
Notification Centre Event-driven transactional communication Yepsta-managed email or WhatsApp event template
WhatsApp Inbox Customer-service conversation Free-form text inside the active reply window

Open Communication → Notification Centre. The Overview tab summarises email and WhatsApp automations, active rules, messages sent this month, failures and communication logs. It also shows whether a channel is ready.

Email is the recommended starting channel. WhatsApp requires the platform sender, approved transactional template mapping and available credits. SMS is not currently active and cannot be enabled.

Enable a supported notification
  1. Open the Settings tab.
  2. Find the event and its Customer or Business audience row.
  3. Confirm the event is marked Live and the intended channel is ready.
  4. Turn on Email or WhatsApp for that audience.
  5. Trigger the real business event when appropriate, then review the Logs tab.

The matrix blocks a channel when the event is not live, the provider or template is not ready, or a paid channel has no credits. Notification preferences are currently business-wide; there is no per-location override in this screen. The underlying event can still refer to the location involved.

Notification Centre uses Yepsta-managed transactional templates and event mappings. Businesses can enable or disable supported event/channel combinations, but cannot edit, preview, test or select those templates in the current screen.

This is separate from WhatsApp Templates, where a business creates and syncs templates for Campaign 2.0.

When a supported event occurs, Yepsta checks the audience setting, channel readiness, destination and available credits. The log can then move through Queued, Sending, Sent to provider, Delivered, Failed or Skipped.
