Configure Notification Centre
Notification Centre controls supported event-driven transactional messages. It is separate from bulk WhatsApp Campaigns and free-form replies in WhatsApp Conversations.
Use the four tabs
Section titled “Use the four tabs”- Overview — enabled automation counts, monthly delivery, channel readiness and recommendations.
- Preferences — per-event customer or business audience switches for supported channels.
- Credits — paid-channel wallet, packages, purchases and usage ledger.
- Delivery History — permission-scoped dispatch status and safe failure or skip explanations.
Email is included transactional delivery. WhatsApp requires a ready platform sender, an approved event template and enough credits. SMS is shown as coming soon or temporarily unavailable and should not be planned as an active channel.
Configure Preferences
Section titled “Configure Preferences”- Open Communication → Notification Centre → Preferences.
- Choose Customers or My Business.
- Search by notification name or filter by category.
- Review the event description and channel status.
- Turn on Email or WhatsApp only when the switch is available and the status is ready.
- Trigger one safe real business event, then review Delivery History.
Use Enable recommended email to turn on ready recommended email rows in the current audience and category. Turn off optional affects optional ready rows in the same scope. Preferences are business-wide; there is no per-location override in this screen, although the underlying event can still refer to a location.
Understand targeted event families
Section titled “Understand targeted event families”The visible catalogue can include generally available events for:
- appointments, Estimates, Invoices, payments, storefront orders, packages and reviews;
- CRM lead assignment and follow-ups;
- supported Projects activity such as Proposals, Agreements, intake, lifecycle changes, client actions, delivery, Change Orders, timesheets, budgets, retainers and feedback; and
- team operations such as attendance, shifts, payroll and payslips.
For Yepsta Pay, the Invoice payment link event is used when a secure collection link is shared. Payment confirmation remains tied to the verified Invoice payment. If Email or WhatsApp is not ready, the Payment Request remains saved even though sharing cannot be completed through that channel.
Project reminder recipes are configured separately in owner-only Projects settings. They re-check current Project state and channel readiness before sending; no reminder can approve, pay, release or complete work.
Understand blocked or paused channels
Section titled “Understand blocked or paused channels”A switch can be unavailable because the event is not active, the provider or template is not ready, the recipient requirement cannot be met, or a paid channel lacks credits. Paused — add credits means the preference is on but sending cannot continue at the current balance.
