Configure and Review Service Commission

Service commission is earned from eligible completed appointment service work assigned to the staff member. It can support commission-only or salary-plus-commission profiles.

Add Commission Rule
  1. Open Team → Commission Manager and select Add Commission Rule.
  2. Choose the staff member.
  3. Optionally narrow the rule to a location and exact service.
  4. Choose Percentage or Fixed and enter the value.
  5. Choose Final Amount or Gross Amount as the calculation basis.
  6. Set the effective start date, optional end date and active state.
  7. Save and review the scope.

A service-specific rule takes priority over a generic rule. A location-specific rule takes priority over an All Locations rule. Overlapping rules for the same staff, location, service and effective period are blocked.

Commission becomes eligible when the assigned appointment service is Completed. Cancelled, no-show or incomplete work is not earned. Multi-service appointments use the staff assignment on each service line; older eligible records may use their retained appointment-level attribution.

The earning date controls the payroll period. A draft payroll assigns eligible, not-yet-linked commission in the selected dates and locations. Recalculating a draft can release and reassociate draft commission; finalization locks the included commission.

  • Correct appointment status or service-line staff allocation at the source while payroll is Draft.
  • End-date an old rule and create a replacement for future terms.
  • Recalculate the draft after the source correction.
  • Do not edit a rule to force a change into finalised or paid payroll; use the controlled correction process.

The customer workflow does not calculate product commission or split one service line among multiple staff. Expected CRM lead value is not commission. Tips can be added as a structured payroll adjustment.
